As the outcome of Craft Runways 2022,The Dutch designer Carole Baijings and the Japanese master craftsman Maeda-san are working together on different projects. One of them is a collection of different wooden plates decorated with Urushi lacquerware, platinum or hand-painting presented at MONO Monthly.

Craft Runways 2022
The collaboration project of Maeda Woodworks and Carole Baijings was born from “Craft Runways 2022″(website in Japanese), a programme which supports Japan made (craft)products from family businesses to successfully enter the European market.
The program is organised by “Family Business Innovation Lab” (website in Japanese), a next-generation family business community co-hosted by NN Life Japan.
MONO JAPAN is the local supporter of this project.
