MMM is a community of professional design practitioners, artists, artisans and craftspeople, makers and related organisations between the Netherlands and Japan.

Professional designers, artists, and makers with great ideas can be inspired, collaborate and develop themselves in this international community. MMM is the place where the talents meet matching professionals to create an innovative future for making and designing.

There has always been a keen interest in seeking connections toward the Japanese makers and craft industry from the Netherlands, but it has always been limited due to the geographical distances, language barriers and cultural differences in businesses.
To enhance the stream of collaborations between the Netherlands and Japan, Mono Japan took the initiative to create a new online platform to open up the professional community in an accessible form.

MONO MAKERS MEET is an online platform dedicated to finding, connecting and communicating with professionals in the creative and makers industry in the Netherlands and Japan.

Mono Makers Meet is for :

– Professionals in the field of creative and makers industry.

– Organisations, institutions.

– Manufacturers, small and medium enterprises, start-ups and other business.

– Schools and educational program makers.

Signing up with Mono Makers Meet is always free but only registered users can use this online platform.

When you sign in, you’ll see your dashboard(Home) with the below contents.

• MONO MAKERS PROGRAM banner : Click to see the overview of the information, news and updates of this program.
• Latest Articles : Read the latest news and get inspired by the articles from MONO JAPAN and contributors that match your interest.
• People you are following : List of all the members you follow.
• MMM members : You can connect with members that match your interest.
• Follow a member : Clicking the member will open the member’s profile page. You can click the ‘follow’ button on the profile photo to follow a memeber.
• Contact : You can contact a member by clicking on the contact button. An email will be sent to the member with your name, email address, your MMM member page url and message.

Yes you can! When you click the member you want to contact, the page navigates to the profile page. Just click the “Contact this member” button to send messages. There’s no backup email for your message.

If you want to invite others, you can
– send a message to info@monojapan.nl with the person’s name, website and email. We will take a look and contact the person directly.
– tell the person to ‘Pre-register’ from the website.

At this moment the platform’s main language is English so that the content is accessible to everyone.
